Bantwal: Two injured in bar brawl

Bantwal: Police officials have arrested two persons in connection with the bar brawl case in Bantwal.

Two men were injured in a bar brawl incident that happened near Bantwal Bypass Junction on February 9.

The arrested accused has been identified as Purusha alias Purushotham from Kavalamudoor, and Dhanush alias Dhananjay, a resident of B Casba village at Bantwal. The other two accused Sichit and Sachin are still absconding.

It is said that a few men had created ruckus after getting drunk in a bar at Bantwal. Following which the accused stabbed the victims Kishore and Dayanand.

The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. Further investigations are underway.
