Bantwal: Villagers boycott Gram Panchayat elections; put up banners

Bantwal: Residents of Sajipamunnur village, Nandavar on Saturday has put up a banner boycotting Gram Panchayat elections.
The banner in Kannada reads, We are boycotting the Gram Panchayat Elections 2020-21 as even though the centre has released the funds, the construction of road connecting Nandavara to the Aramanihitlu has still not been initiated by the local leaders.
The villagers have also banned the entry of politicians into their village.
