Bantwal: Violating curfew, ZP member organises mass wedding ceremony

Bantwal: A zilla panchayat member here organised a mass wedding programme on Sunday in violation of the weekend curfew.
Hundreds gathered in the wedding ceremony at Punjalkatte where reportedly distancing and mask-wearing norms and other COVID-19 guidelines were not followed.
Additionally, it is also been reported that the wedding was held very near to the Punjalkatte police station.
Photos of the mass wedding are being circulated on social media along with outrage expressed for such gross misuse of authority.
