Bantwal: A 35-year old woman ended her life by jumping into a well in Siddakatte here on Thursday early morning.
The deceased has been identified as Pratibha Jain.
Prathibha is said to have jumped into the well at around 6 am in the morning, shortly after her husband Abhay Jain left home to attend a marriage function at Hassan.
A complaint in this regard has been lodged at Bantwal Rural Police Station. Meanwhile, Pratibha’s father has demanded a thorough probe into her death.
