Bantwal: Youth, injured after falling from a tree, passes away

Bantwal: A youth, who was seriously injured after falling from a tree, breathed his last at a hospital on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Muhammed Shareef (32), son of Sulaiman, a resident of Kodepadavu in the taluk.

Shareef lived at his grandfather’s house at Amtur near Kalladka, and was working as a woodcutter. On Sunday, September 11, he accidentally fell from a tree while he was cutting it in Amtur and was seriously injured, sources said.

He died on Monday while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Mangaluru. He is survived by his father, mother, wife, and five-month-old son.
