Mangaluru: Following the Jaleel murder case at Katipalla, the Surathkal Police barricaded the Surathkal Junction during the funeral procession of Jaleel on Sunday, on Sunday, December 25.

Vehicular movement at Surathkal Junction was prohibited.

On Monday, December 26, even after the funeral is over, the barricades are still in place, which has led to disruption in vehicular movement at the Surathkal Junction. Due to this, the vehicle owners are left with no option but to park their vehicles in the middle of the road.

Traffic congestion was observed at the Junction on Monday. An ambulance was seen stuck amid the traffic congestion on the Surathkal flyover.

Meanwhile, the public is distressed over the system.
