Basanagouda Patil Yatnal reacts on show cause notice issued to him

Bengaluru: MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal on Friday said that he is yet to receive the show cause notice and is willing to clarify why he made the remarks

Patil said,” I have heard the news that show cause notice has been issued to me. But as I have still not received it, I would not like to react on the issue. I have not spoken anything against the party or National leaders. I believe in ‘Satyameva Jayate'”

“Several media houses have reported that I am speaking out of frustration as I did not get ministerial position. I never aspired to become a Minister. I am a populist, and that is why I made those statements against the government,” he added

Patil further said, ” I was praised by Former CM Siddaramaiah, JH Patel and Virender Patil. But I am not bothered. I did not become a politician to fulfill my own needs.
