BBMP demolishes tilted building

Bengaluru: A day after a three-storey building, at Horamavu started tilting dangerously BBMP authorities on Tuesday started demolition of the structure after safely evacuating seven families living adjacent to the tilting structure.
As on Tuesday, 60per cent of the demolition was complete while the remaining structure will be completely demolished by Wednesday evening.
Building demolition cost will be looked after by the owner of the building, informed a BBMP official.
The structure was built thirteen years ago by Ratan Lal and was sold in 2015 to Hukum Singh, who resided in the premises with his family and runs a shop on the ground floor.
