Bengaluru: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) plans to change Indira Canteen’s menu  for all 198 canteens in the city.

The Palike has compiled a database of suggestions from 1,500 visitors and as per information available, over 1,000 persons requested for tea.

The caterers of Indira Canteen, said, “The customers were asking for tea and hot beverages. We are discussing the possibilities and will soon finalise the changes.”

The officials said, “We are not sure of serving hot beverages in the canteens as it will have to be provided at a lesser price than the breakfast. We are already serving breakfast at a subsidised price. However, we will see the best possibilities in the matter.”
