BBMP to open 200-bed Covid Care Centre near MG Road on Oct 14

Bengaluru: Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is all set to open a new Covid Care Centre (CCC) on Primrose Road in the Central Business District on Wednesday, October 14.

The CCC, which will be located at the Social Welfare Hostel near Garuda Mall will be a Covid care centre for the East zone.

According to BBMP the 200-bed facility will initially have an occupancy of 100.

BBMP in a release said, “The civic body is training staff to operate the CCC facility. There will be three doctors and six nurses in three shifts for every 100 patients, another doctor and nurses for training, and Group D workers.”
