Bengaluru: BJP MP Tejasvi Surya on Wednesday, May 5 said that he spoke to Infosys co-founder and the non-executive chairman Nandan Nilekani and sought his help to revamp BBMP bed allocation software.

Taking to Twitter Tejaswi wrote, “Had a conversation with Sri Nandan Nilekani this morning and sought his help to revamp BBMP bed allocation software. Lots of gratitude to him for putting the very best tech architects on the job immediately. Yet again, he has proved he is always available for Bengaluru!”

Tejasvi Surya on Tuesday, May 4 alleged that hospitals in the city ‘blocked’ beds in fake names to make money, at a time when COVID-19 cases were rising in the country and Karnataka.

“At least 4,065 beds were ‘blocked’ in fake names by the hospitals to make a killing,” the BJP Yuva Morcha president and Bengaluru South BJP MP alleged.
