Beef sold illegally; one held, two escape

Sullia: A person has been arrested on the charges of illegal sale of beef at his residence at Aranthodu here on Tuesday, April 9. The accused is identified as Shamshuddin. Two other accused, Muneer and Mubarak managed to make good their escape during the raid.
Sullia police conducted the raid based on a credible tip of and arrested the accused for selling beef illegally. During the raid, 10kgs 400 grams of beef, weighing machine and knives were seized from the accused.
A case in this connection has been registered at Sullia police station.
