Being summoned by CCB doesn’t make me guilty or accused: Anushree

Bengaluru: In a video posted on her Facebook account on the morning of Friday, October 2, television reality series host and actress Anushree has stated that only for visiting the CCB’s office she is not guilty or even accused in the drugs case and that such an inference being made has given her immense pain since the past one week.
“I will never forget the day of September 24, 2020, at any point in my life. When I won a dance reality show 12 years ago, I never imagined that one day, that would be a thorn in my life,” Anushree said.
“I’m not defending myself for any reason. I did not feel sad on receiving a notice from the CCB. However, the constant accusations after that have been ruining my peace. I request that you also understand our feelings before promoting such ideas,” she added.
“I’ve never done nor will I ever do anything that would hurt my name. I thank all those who still trust me during these difficult times,” she stated.
