Mangaluru: A burglary at a house on Bejai came to light on Saturday (July 13).

The homeowners had been away for the past four or five days. Upon their return, they found that the back door had been broken and the house had been burglarized. Cash and several other valuables were stolen.

The crime is suspected to have taken place a few days ago. Given the recent spate of robberies and thefts in the city, there is suspicion that the notorious “Chaddi Gang” might be involved in this incident as well.
