Belagavi: ASI quarantined after visiting COVID-19 +ve daughter

Belagavi: An ASI with the Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) here was quarantined on May 8 after he went to meet his COVID-19 positive daughter and son-in-law.
The daughter and son-in-law too are quarantined at a hotel here. The ASI’s 1.5-year-old grandson had tested negative; he had gone to bring the grandson home.
It is not known whether he was granted permission to bring the grandson home on condition of quarantine or had he gone without permission.
