Belagavi: Five killed, 10 injured in a road mishap

Belagavi: Five people were killed on spot and ten others were injured when a KSRTC bus rammed into a mini-bus at Adahalli village in Athani taluk in Belagavi district on Saturday. Four among the dead belonged to the same family.
The deceased have been identified as Radhabai (50), Archana (40) Annappa (42), Ravi (12) all belonging to Jadhav family. They are the residents of Kakamari village in Athani taluk.
Gaurav Gopal Pol (40) also from the same village who was driving the minibus was killed on the spot. Ten people sustained severe injuries. The injured have been rushed to Athani taluk hospital.
Total of 15 people were travelling in the minibus, including the injured and the deceased and were on their way to attend a last rites towards Athani.
Aigali police arrived at the spot and have registered a case.
