A pipeline carrying drinking water from Hidakal dam to the city was broken, resulting in a massive explosion and significant damage.
The water pressure was so intense that the pipeline ruptured, causing a blockage and unleashing a torrent of water that shot up to a height of 50 feet.
The incident was captured on mobile phone footage, with the scene of water gushing for over half an hour.
