Belthangady: 17-yo girl student passes away in Mangaluru hospital

A 17-year-old girl student of Venoor Government Pre-University College passed away at a private hospital in Mangaluru on Wednesday, October 26.

The deceased has been identified as Ankita, daughter of Ashok Poojary and Prathima Poojary.

She was reportedly unwell for sometime now. Initially she was admitted to a hospital in Belthangady but was later shifted to the private hospital in Mangaluru on October 22 for advanced treatment. She however passed away without responding to the treatment.

Ankita was pursuing commerce and was said to be a bright student
