Belthangady: Dead body of man who went missing during fishing trip found

Belthangady: The dead body of a man who had gone for fishing in the Somavati river and went missing later was found on Tuesday, December 8.
The deceased, identified as Ramesh (48), was not responding to calls from his family members from 5 pm on Monday, December 7.
A search was carried out and Ramesh’s clothes, fishing net and mobile phone were found on the banks of the Somavati river at Jackwel near Belthangady.
The fire and police department personnel immediately rushed to the spot and found Ramesh’s dead body after a search operation in the river.
