Belthangady: Man dies after falling from coconut tree

Belthangady: A 40-year-old man died after falling from a coconut tree in Ujire here on Wednesday, July 28.

The deceased has been identified as Ananda, a resident of Ninnikallu Palenja in Ujire.

On Wednesday evening, Ananda accidentally slipped and fell from the coconut tree. He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital but died on the way.

He is survived by wife, son and daughter.
