Belthangady: Popular singer Jitendra Shetty Karyana passes away

Padangady: Popular singer Jitendra Shetty Karyana passed away on October 28 at a private hospital in Mangaluru after a brief period of illness.

Jitendra Shetty was popular for his melodious voice. He entertained the crowd by singing Bhajans, Sangeets, and Bhakti Rasamanjari programmes.  He was known for being soft-spoken and friendly.

He was the organizer of Swati Musical in Belthangady and the pillar of support of “Nama Matherla Onje” team. He is survived by his wife and two children.
