Ujire: Prajwal Complex owner’s son killed in car crash

Belthangady: The son of the owner of Belthangady’s Prajwal Complex was killed in a car crash near the Ujire main gate to the college road, early morning on June 29.

The deceased has been identified as Prajwal Nayak (35).

The incident occurred around 4 AM today. While traveling from College Road to Belthangady, the car crashed into street light poles on the divider. The impact caused severe damage to the front of the car, and one of the electric poles was uprooted.

Prajwal, who was driving the vehicle, sustained serious head injuries. He was admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.

Prajwal Nayak was the son of prominent businessman Pramod R. Nayak of Belthangady Santhekatte, known for his active involvement in various organizations and owner of Prajwal Complex.

Prajwal was also a businessman and ran a gaming shop in the D.M. Gowda Complex in Ujire.
