Belthangady: Robbers loot cash, jewelry worth Rs. 13 Lakh

Belthangady: In a shocking incident, 4 thieves entered a house in Kalmanja village in the Taluk and robbed cash and ornaments worth Rs 13 lakh on Friday, June 26.

The thieves have entered the house of Achuth Bhat, a resident of Kalmanja village in the Taluk around 2.30 am, tied the residents, and stolen ornaments and money from the house.

They have also threatened to do physical harm in case if they inform this to police.

40 Sovereign gold, 1 kg silver, and Rs 25,000 is been stolen in the incident.

This incident is reported in Dharmastala Police station scope and Circle inspector Sandesh PG, Dharmastala PSI Pavan Naik, and the police team are investigating this.
