Belthangady: Scuffle breaks out between BJP and Congress workers

Belthangady: Local BJP and Congress workers reportedly were involved in a scuffle on Monday.
The clashes took place near Kinyamma Hall during the nomination filing process of the candidates from both parties.
It is said that BJP workers who were returning after filing nomination papers shouted slogans at Congress workers who were arriving at the scene, which reportedly led to a verbal spat. The situation turned into a full-blown physical fight between the groups. Congress workers allegedly damaged a car belonging to the BJP workers during the melee.
A complaint has been filed against 5 persons from both sides including Abhinandan Harish Kumar who is the son of Vidhana Parishad member Harish Kumar.
