Belthangady youth reported missing after tour to Devaramane returns home

Kottigehara: A 27-year-old youth from Belthangady taluk, who had been on a tour of historic Devaramane in Mudigere Taluk, has gone missing on Tuesday.
The youth has been identified as Deekshit hailing from Koyyur.
It is gathered that a group of four youths from Belthangady taluk embarked on a trip to Devaramane. However, on their return journey, a dispute ensued near Gudda Thota, prompting Deekshit to leave the vehicle. Since then, he has not been located.
Local authorities, Banakal Police, and the Forest Department initiated a search on Tuesday evening, but their efforts were impeded by dense fog in the vicinity of his last known location. The search operation reportedly resumed today, yet Deekshit’s whereabouts remain unknown.
Update: Missing Youth Found Safe and Sound
The family of the missing youth, Deekshit (27) from Koyyur in Belthangadi taluk, has informed Banakal Police that he has safely returned to town in another vehicle.
This development brings a happy ending to what was initially a concerning situation. The case has been resolved successfully.
