Moodbidri: A car crashed into two parked bikes and into a transformer after the driver of the vehicle lost control over the vehicle at Belvai on Wednesday morning at 8:30 am.

The car initially hit the compound wall of Blossom school at Belvai market. Later it ploughed through two parked bikes and crashed into the transformer. One of the motorcycles belongs to a Mescom lineman. The car has suffered major damage and three people who were inside the car including the driver have suffered injuries.

The transformer has suffered damages worth Rs 1 lakh stated Mescom Department in its complaint to Moodbidri police.

Very low people density

The location where the mishap took place is usually full of public and school children. However fortunately, the people density at the location during the incident on Wednesday was very low. Thus a major incident was averted.

Moodbidri police have registered a case in this connection and are investigating it.
