Bengaluru: An alleged meeting presided by Vijayapura MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal with 10 BJP MLAs mostly from northern Karnataka has given rise to the speculation that all is not well within the State government and BJP’s State unit.

It is being alleged that these 10 MLAs are not happy with the negligence shown by Chief Minister Yediyurappa to the issues from their constituencies.

Apart from the meeting in the city here, another meeting too was reported from Belagavi district on Thursday which was held to garner support for former MP Ramesh Katti being nominated to the Rajya Sabha.

Ramesh’s brother, MLA Umesh Katti is said to be a ministerial aspirant in Yediyurappa’s cabinet.
