Bengaluru: 70-year-old robs house to fulfill sexual desires

Bengaluru: In a bizarre incident, a 70-year-old man who used to rob houses ‘to fulfill sexual desires’ was arrested by Suddaguntepalya police officials.
The arrested accused, Ramesh alias Thatha, a resident of Chikkamagaluru is married twice and has three kids.
It is said that Ramesh wanted to get married again and was in search of a woman. However, the family members were against his third marriage.
He allegedly used to have sex with random women and also stole cash and jewellery from his own house to give it to them. Soon after, he was thrown out of the house.
Ramesh then began planning thefts to fulfill his sexual desire. He is said to have robbed several houses in Tamilnadu after which he was arrested.
Released on bail two years ago, he came to Bengaluru and robbed a house in Nimhans layout. Following this, Siddaguntepalya police officials have arrested the man.
Reports suggest that he was in contact with around 30-40 women and has gifted them gold and cash worth lakhs.
Police have seized 162 grams of gold worth Rs 8 lakh and Rs 5000 cash from the accused.
