Bengaluru: A bank employee from Muddinapalya has gone missing after leaving a video message explaining his financial distress and inability to repay loans.

The missing person, identified as Bharat, had reportedly invested money in online trading and accumulated loans exceeding Rs 20 lakh. Unable to manage the loan repayments, Bharat recorded a video message on his phone, stating, “I am distressed. Don’t look for me. I am leaving home.”

Bharat left his mobile phone at home and disappeared, and his wife discovered his absence after seeing the video. She has since filed a missing person’s complaint at the Annapoorneshwarinagar police station, requesting assistance in locating her husband.

According to reports, loan collectors had been visiting Bharat’s home, pressuring him to repay the debt. Though Bharat left home on his bike two days earlier, he continued to speak with his wife using another mobile phone. However, this phone is now switched off, adding to the concern over his whereabouts.
