Bengaluru: Police officials probing the recent murder case of a youth who was killed on his birthday revealed that he was murdered by rowdy sheeter Kulla Rizwan’s assailants to establish supremacy.
A 26-year-old youth, Hemanth who went with his friends to celebrate his birthday, was murdered in Kengeri on July 16.
Following this, Kempegowda police officials arrested rowdy sheeter Kulla Rizwan and upon checking his phone, it was revealed that Hemanth was killed by his assailants.
It is said that while Hemanth and his friends were partying near NICE Road underpass in Konasandra, Rizwan’s friends too had gathered near the place.
Hemanth in a drunken stupor began talking about rowdyism in a loud voice. Rizwan’s assailants then said, “Don’t you know our boss is Kulla Rizwan?’ To which he replied “No”
Angered by this, the gang attacked Hemanth with lethal weapons and smashed his head with a boulder. They also filmed the attack on their phones and sent it to Kulla Rizwan.
Police officials found the video on Rizwan’s phone during interrogation and arrested him.
