Bengaluru: BJP announces names of 3 candidates for MLC elections

Bengaluru: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on Friday, released the names of the 3 candidates for the upcoming legislative council elections.
BJP high command has given tickets to Arun Shahapur for Northwest Teachers constituency, Hanumantha Nirani for Northwest Graduate constituency, and MV Ravi Shankar for South Graduate constituency.
BJP high command is yet to announce the candidate for the West Teachers’ constituency. State BJP unit has recommended Mohan Limbekai for the seat. It is rumored that the BJP leaders are keeping the position open for wooing Legislative Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti into the BJP fold.
