Bengaluru: Congress leader splashes petrol inside BBMP office

Bengaluru: After Mohammed Haris Nalapad and his companions brutally assaulted a Bengaluru man, another Congress leader has been accused of misusing his power.

The accused has been identified as Congress leader Narayanaswamy. He is also the block president of KR Puram in Bengaluru. On Monday, a video where Narayanaswamy is seen throwing petrol from the bottle inside the premises of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) office Bengaluru’s Horamavu and threatening to set it on fire was on air.

Narayanaswamy is a close associate Congress MLA Byrati Basavaraj. Basavaraj is said to be a close aid of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
