Bengaluru: Cops assault Bengali migrant workers

Bengaluru: The city police allegedly assaulted Bengali migrant workers, a case has been filed with this regard before the Karnataka State Human Rights Commission (SHRC).
Reportedly, the Hebbagodi police barged into garbage segregation units in Shikari Palya run by Bengali Muslims on June 17 and 18 and assaulted the residents there in order to make them leave the city.
Two Bengali Muslims, Rabbani Sardar (52) and Anees (38), from Murshidabad in their complaint mentioned that their properties were damaged during the police raids on their premises
“The police were bent on proving that they are not Indian. They destroyed our foodstocks, and threatened women and children,” the Complainants were quoted speaking to The News Minute
