Bengaluru: A 13 year old boy was sexually harassed by his cricket coach who trains at an Academy in Yelahanka. The Yelahanka police have arrested the accused.
The accused, Naseer, runs Ace Cricket Academy. He is a resident of Vidyaranyapura. The police have reported the incident that took place in the evening of Saturday. The incident came to light when the boy described it to his parents.
Naseer took the boy in his Maruthi Omni from the academy to a ground in the university for a match. After returning back from the match, the accused took the car to an isolated place and allegedly started touching the boy inappropriately and harassing him. He then forced the boy to touch his private parts.
The boy went home and narrated the incident to his parents. They immediately approached Yelahanka Police and lodged a complaint. The police arrested Naseer on Monday and produced him before the court.
The parents told the police that the coach had become their son’s role model by promising him to prepare him for IPL League.
The police have booked a case under POSCO act against Naseer.
