Bengaluru: Dead Body found in junked car used for movie shoots

Bengaluru: In a strange incident, a dead body was found in an abandoned car in Rajajinagar, Bengaluru on Friday.

It is said that the graffiti-wrapped car was owned by a man named Gopi and was used for movie shoots. Gopi worked in the film industry and passed away two years ago.

The body was discovered after residents noticed a foul smell emanating from the car and informed the police officials.

Police found a dead body of a man in his 30s and a few alcohol tetra packs in the car. It is suspected that the man might have consumed alcohol mixed with poison which led to his death.

Officials also found a copy of an Aadhaar card from his pocket but it was in the name of a 64-year-old man while the body was of a man in his  30s.

Police have shifted the body to a nearby hospital for postmortem.
