Bengaluru: Police officials have arrested two persons for stealing a car from a drunk cab driver in Bengaluru.
The arrested accused have been identified as Manjunath (27), a resident of Yalahanka, and his wife Vedavati (25).
It is said that the accused booked a private cab and befriended the driver, Shivashankar. Later at night, they took him to a bar and after he was drunk they offered to drop him home.
When they reached Kolavarahalli, they pushed Shivashankar out of the car and fled from the spot.
A complaint was filed and the accused were arrested by the cops. It is said that the accused were homeless and had turned the car into their house.
Police seized an Etios car, and 2 mobile phones from the accused.
