Bengaluru: Ecstasy pills worth around Rs 1 crore seized at KIA

Bengaluru: The customs officials at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA)’s cargo section found ecstasy pills worth around Rs 1 crore concealed in a foot massage machine.
Reportedly, officers at the Bengaluru International Courier Centre detected 1980 grams of MDMA (Methylenedioxymethamphetamine)/ecstasy pills concealed inside an electric foot massager.
It is gathered that the drugs were found inside a package sent from Belgium.
An investigation with this regard is now underway.
