Bengaluru: Elderly man killed for raping minor; Three arrested

Bengaluru: An elderly man was killed by three persons for allegedly raping a minor in Babusabpalya, Bengaluru. The accused have been arrested by Hennur police officials.

Kuppaswami (73), a resident of Babusabpalya had allegedly raped a minor girl in his neighborhood. He was then killed by the victim’s family members.

The arrested accused have been identified as Madhu (22), Kiran (23) and Shahbaz (25).

It is said that Kuppaswami had lured a 16-year-old girl to consume some kind of sedative. When she turned semi-conscious, he took her to his house and raped her.

The family members began searching for the girl as she did not return home. After some time, they found her lying naked in Kuppaswami’s house. He was then beaten to death by the family members.

Later, the family members approached the police who then shifted Kuppaswami to the hospital. However, the doctors declared him dead.

Following this, the three accused were arrested.
