Bengaluru: Bengaluru police have arrested a 34-year-old man for allegedly extorting money from a woman by using her morphed nude video.

The accused has been identified as Sandeep, he introduced himself as Suneel in front of the woman. He reportedly promised her a job if she fulfilled his demands and visited him at a private place.

Within a week, he made a video call to her and showed her morphed nude video and threatened to leak it.

The accused asked the woman to meet him on August 21 and apparently posed as a police officer. He then took Rs 200 from her bag and later demanded Rs 10,000 immediately.

However, the woman approached the cops and lodged a complaint.
