Bengaluru: An FIR has been filed at the Bandepalya Police Station against a shop owner for allegedly violating license regulations by selling firecrackers online.
The accused, Supreeth, owner of Shivananda Store in HSR Layout, has been served a notice to appear for questioning, according to police.
Supreeth is licensed to sell firecrackers year-round, but his license restricts sales to the physical store only. However, Supreeth advertised online firecracker sales through social media, promising home delivery for online orders. Due to this violation of license regulations, a case has been registered against him.
