Bengaluru: Gang abducts 2 students, steal Rs 10 lakh

Bengaluru: A gang of six-seven members kidnapped two students from Museum Road on the night of August 23 and forced them to transfer Rs 10 lakh to their accounts.
The victims Shanis Usman Kutty and Mohammed Shaheen Hamza, both aged 23 had come to Bengaluru in their SUV for personal work on August 23.
It is said that the gang members first blocked their SUV near Anepalya and started fighting with them. They again stopped them on Museum Road, off Church Street, and drove the SUV to a desolate place on Hosur Road.
There they forced them to transfer Rs 10 lakh into their account and also forced them to smoke ganja. They freed them near Nice Road toll on the afternoon of August 24,
A complaint has been filed in this matter with the Cubbon Park police against the unidentified men under different sections of the IPC.
