Bengaluru: The Gruha Jyoti Yojana, a state government initiative, has received an overwhelming response with a staggering 76,09,701 lakh applications submitted as of 4 pm on June 28.

The application process for Gruha Jyoti Yojana has been expedited across all six electricity companies in the state, with over 10 lakh customers applying each day. There is no fixed deadline for registration.

The number of applications has doubled since the introduction of a dedicated registration link for the state’s e-governance Griha Jyothi Yojana. Interested individuals can register via the official portal https://sevasindhugs.karnataka.gov.in using a computer, laptop, or mobile phone, completely free of charge.

Registration can also be done at Bangalore One, Gram One, Karnataka One, and Gram Panchayat offices by paying only the prescribed service fee. In case of any additional demands for money, customers are urged to immediately contact the 24×7 helpline at 1912. Appropriate action will be taken against anyone involved in such fraudulent activities.

Beware of fake links: It is crucial to avoid using any private or fake websites for registration, apart from the official website mentioned above.
