Bengaluru: HC permits student accused in sexual assault case to write university examinations

Bengaluru: Karnataka High court allowed a 19-year-old accused in a sexual assault case to appear for the B.Com. examinations, with some conditions.
The accused, named Darshan had appealed the High Court for bail to write the B.Com third semester examinations that are scheduled to start from March 15. The single-judge bench of Justice V Shreeshananda conditionally granted permission to the accused to write the examinations.
The order said that a separate room should be prepared for the accused to write the university examinations.
