Bengaluru: Several parts of Bengaluru were waterlogged and traffic movement in many areas was disrupted following heavy rainfall on Sunday night.

Visuals of waterlogged Manyata Tech Park and Kendriya Vihar apartment have surfaced online. Several wards in RR Nagar, Dasarahalli and Mahadevapura zones also received heavy rain.

It is said that some employees are being sent back because vehicles are unable to reach their office buildings due to extreme waterlogging.

As per Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), Yelahanka Sector’s Joint Commissioner said safety measures are being carried out in Surabhi Layout and surrounding areas.

Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai had held a meeting with senior ministers and officials on Sunday night, for reviewing the damage caused by rainfall and relief actions taken by the government.
