Bengaluru: Inter-state drug-peddlers arrested; Hashish oil worth Rs 2 crore seized

Bengaluru: The city police on Friday, July 17, arrested two inter-State drug-peddlers and seized 4 kgs of hashish oil worth Rs 2 crore from them.
The accused have been identified as Mohammad Irfan (24) and Tariq Azeem (25), both natives of Kerala.
It is said that the Sadduguntepalya police team received information that two people have been supplying hashish oil and ganja in Bengaluru.
Police officials launched an operation to arrest those importing drugs from neighbouring states, they conducted a raid at their residence and found a huge amount of drugs and hashish oil.
Appreciating the team which made the arrest, Police Commissioner Kamal Pant tweeted, ”The accused persons procured the narcotic substances from Andhra Pradesh and were selling them to college students in Bengaluru.” He also commended Suddaguntepalya Police Station for its “fabulous work”.
