A 26-year-old man identified as Rakesh from Kallubalu village, Jigani, took his own life by self-immolation in Kodipalya. The incident occurred on Wednesday, and the young man succumbed to his injuries on Thursday morning.
Rakesh, who was pursuing his diploma, had been in a relationship for the past five or six years with a young woman from Hemmigepura.
