Bengaluru likely to receive rain in next 24 hours: IMD

Bengaluru: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday predicted rainfall in Bengaluru in the next 24 hours with strong and gusty winds.

Also, Red alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall issued in Dakshin Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada districts for today and tomorrow.

The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 29 and 20 degrees Celsius respectively.  Meanwhile, Shivamogga, Hassan, Kodagu and Chikkamagaluru districts were issued an orange warning

IMD’s regional branch in the city advised the fishermen to not venture into the sea on June 18 and 19.
