Bengaluru: A 32-year-old youth has been arrested by the police for marrying multiple times after creating fake profiles on matrimonial sites.

The accused Syed was arrested on the basis of the complaint made by his sixth wife.

The complainant said that following her divorce she had created her profile on a matrimonial website and had got a request from Syed. They later got married on November 15, 2018

While conversing with their neighbours the woman came to know of Syed’s previous marriages. After crosschecking his background the woman alleged that Syed targeted divorced women with fake profiles and used to gain their confidence through his communication skills. He would then marry and cheat his brides.
