Bengaluru man bites off wife’s finger, swallows it; case filed

A woman lodged a police complaint against her husband after he allegedly bit off a finger of her left hand and swallowed it during an argument.

The victim Pushpa in her husband her complaint alleged that Vijaykumar even threatened her through rowdy-sheeters.

Reportedly the couple had gotten married 23 years ago. Since their marriage, the accused used to torture his wife physically and mentally. Unable to bear the harassement, Pushpa moved out of their house with their and started living separately.

On July 28, Vijaykumar went to Pushpa’s house and picked up a fight. In the heat of the arguments, he bit one of her fingers on the left hand and ate it, the complaint mentioned.

The accused also threatened his wife to kill and eat her up the way he ate her finger.

The police are preparing to take action against the accused husband Vijaykumar.
