A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Gangonda Nahalli, Chandralayout, involving a distressed husband who witnessed his wife being assaulted with a weapon, ultimately succumbing to a fatal heart attack.

The deceased, identified as Mudaseer Khan, was a resident of Chandralayout. The alleged assailants, Wahid Ahmed and his brother, Mateen, have been taken into custody.

The story dates back to when Wahid was once closely associated with Mudasir Khan’s wife. Four months ago, Mudasir became aware of their previous connection, leading to a negotiated compromise. However, tensions escalated when Wahid began spreading derogatory rumors about Mudasir’s wife.

On November 2, Mudasir, accompanied by his wife, confronted Wahid at his residence to address the issue. Tragically, during this confrontation, Wahid and his brother, Mateen, attacked the woman with a machete. In the midst of this horrifying scene, Mudaseer Khan suffered a heart attack and subsequently lost his life.

A complaint has been filed by the victim’s wife with the Chandralayout police station.
